Great Keppel Island was purchased in February 2007 by Tower Holdings with a view to refurbish the resort to a 5 star standard and further develop the island to include multiple hotels. Due to the age of the property and the IT and Telecommunication systems, the infrastructure required complete replacement. Travis Brown was contracted to evaluate, cost, install and support an overall IT solution that would serve the needs of a remote island destination and the Brisbane based central reservation and sales office. Travis exceeded our expectations at every level and completed the project on time and within budget, and through his ongoing support and guidance became a highly respected member of the senior management team. We found Mr. Brown to be extremely supportive and sensible and on numerous occasions provided practical and cost effective solutions that enabled the senior management team to focus on the business and not the complex systems. The ongoing support Travis provided was invaluable as he was able to remotely monitor and fix the systems, reducing down time and removing the need to have any on island IT support.

Novotel Twin Waters Resort, Sunshine Coast, have been working closely with Microsavvy and its principle Travis Brown since 2004. Microsavvy have managed the IT requirements of the resort through their managed services program. The program fits our business model as we do not have any local IT support staff. The IT processes and management Microsavvy provide as part of their support program relieves us of that aspect of day to day business.
